The latest designs of high efficiency condensing units for mid-
to large-sized homes are the Rinnai RC80 and RC98 tankless water heaters.
The two models offer flexible indoor or outdoor installation options. The
RC80 and RC98 can be ordered to fire on either Natural Gas or Propane (LP)
Gas and are compatible with a full range of controllers. Residential
controllers allow a range of 98° to 140°. Commercial controllers allow a range
of 98°to 185°.
These space saving condensing units use an innovative design
to preheat the water promoting an efficiency of up to 95%, which makes them eligible
for a Federal Tax Credit and meets the Texas and California NOx standards.
These Tankless water Heaters offer the ability to supply continuous hot water
to multiple demands without running out of hot water.
Which unit is best for you? The RC80 models produce
a maximum of 8.0 GPM (gallons per minutes) and the RC98 models produce a
maximum of 9.8 GPM.
